Nenita E. Booms, 69, of Athens, Georgia, passed away November 30, 2012, at her 
home following a brief illness.  
She was born September 15, 1943, in Manila, Philippines.  Nenita married Albert 
Booms December 15, 1979, in Detroit.  Nenita worked as a nurse in the Detroit 
area and moved to Athens, Georgia in 1994, where she continued to work as a 
nurse until her retirement.

Nenita is survived by her husband, Albert Booms, of Athens, Georgia and family 
members in the Philippines.

Visitation for Nenita will be from 10 a.m. until time of services Wednesday, 
Dec. 5, 2012, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Helena.  Funeral mass for 
Nenita will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at the church with Fr. 
William Spencer officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
