Helen Marie Booms, age 74, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2013 at home in 
Moorestown.  She was born December 9, 1938 in Ruth, Michigan to Marcus A. and 
Mary R. (Klee) Booms.  Helen participated in dances at the Merritt Golden 
Agers.  She actively enjoyed doing puzzles and visiting with family and 
friends.  Helen was a member of the St. Stephen Catholic Church in Lake City.



Helen is survived by her brothers and sisters: Donald Booms of Moorestown, Jim 
(Judy) Booms of Lake City, Charles (Susan) Booms of Marion, Dennis (Patsy) 
Booms of Saranac, Raymond (Marjean) Booms of Moorestown, Sister Dorothy Booms 
of Adrian, Arlene (Gary) Davenport , Grace (Franklin) England, Ann (Eldon) 
Berryhill all of Marion, Rosemarie Booms of Moorestown and Joan (Martin) Kline- 
Miller of West Gardiner, Maine.

She is also survived by a sister in law Audrey Booms of Deltona, Florida and 
many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents Marcus and 
Mary Booms, a brother William Booms and a sister in law Barbara Booms.



Funeral services for Helen will be Monday, August 26, 2013 at the St. Stephen 
Catholic Church in Lake City with Rev. James VonToble officiating. Visitation 
will begin at 10:00 am until the time of service.  Burial will take place in 
the Moorestown Cemetery.
