Clemens, Michigan. She was born December 17, 1966 in Detroit, and was the blessed daughter of Leo and Ruth Ann (nee: Bismack) Booms. Gone far too soon from our presence, memories of Amanda will always warm the heart when reflecting on what a generous and caring person she was to all,...especially to God's little ones. She loved children immensely. Although Amanda never had any of her own, she reached out to them with a sense of care and compassion that was quite nurturing. Another love she nurtured was that of the relationships she shared with her little feline friends. Amanda's cats meant the world to her and provided countless hours of joy and pleasure over the years. Amanda was also known for being quite the cook. She certainly knew her way around the kitchen and possessed the knack of whipping up some tasty treats. She loved the world of arts & crafts and was known for having a creative eye that not only appreciated the visual splendor found at many of the shows, but guided her as she fabricated many pieces of art herself. And in sharing Amanda's passions, the mention just simply cannot be overlooked when remembering how enthralled she was about her many rings. She had a ring collection that reflected her creative and passionate side, and was gloriously adorned with them on many occasions. Amanda was the beloved companion of Mark Kilgore. Dearest daughter of Leo & Ruth Ann Booms, and sister of Jeffrey Booms. Devoted aunt of Anah Yates-Booms. She is also survived by loving aunts & uncles, Dave and Shirley Bismack, Bill and Becky Bismack, Lucille Booms, Jerome Booms, Harold (Clara) Booms, Irvine (Marlene) Booms, and cousins, Tracey (Rich) Warchuck, Sarah (Dave) Bismack- Gallerini, Elizabeth (Shawn) Furtah, Lucille Niemi, Stella Lemanski, Lauretta Gusa, Leona Mausalf, and Marlene Mausalf. Visitation for Amanda will be held Tuesday, April 14th from 5:00-9:00 pm, with a 7:00 pm Scripture Service, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Road) in Warren. She will lie in state on Wednesday from 10:30 am until time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at St. Malachy Catholic Church in Sterling Heights.
