Clarence Allen Booms
September 25, 1906 – June 28, 1982
Clarence A. Booms, 75, of 7521 Purdy Road, died Monday, June 28, 1982, in his 
home in Florida after a long illness. He was born September 25, 1906, in Harbor 
Beach, where he lived most of his life.  He married Laura Scholtz April 1, 1929, 
in Harbor Beach.  Mr. Booms was founder and owner of Booms Silo Co. Inc., Harbor 
Beach, until retirement in 1967.  He was a parishioner of St. Anthony's Catholic 
Church, Helena. 

He is survived by his wife; six sons, Kenneth, James, Robert and Gene, all of 
Harbor Beach, Albert, Detroit, and Warren, Saginaw; six daughters, Barbara 
Mazure, Marilyn Essenmacher, Charlotte Talaski, Clarice Siemen and Matilda 
Messing, all of Harbor Beach, and Ramona Bell, San Antonio, Texas; a brother, 
Allen, Harbor Beach; five sisters, Cecilia Terbrack, Ruth, Mary Kramer and Helen 
Scholtz, both of Harbor Beach, Florence Ramisch, Palms, and Frances, Elkton; 69 
grandchildren; and 14 greatgrandchildren.  A son and a daughter died earlier.  

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Anthony's.  Father R.K. Lafluer, 
pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Visiting begins 
at 7 p.m. today in the Ramsey Funeral Home.  A Scripture service will be held at
