Clifford Leo Booms
December 9, 1933 - November 17, 1989
Clifford Booms, 55, Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Harbor Beach died Friday, 
November, 17, 1989, at L.W. Blake Memorial Hospital, Bradenton, after a short 
illness.  He was born December 9, 1933, in Sand Beach Township, son of the late 
Roman and Theresa (Lautner) Booms.  Mr. Booms sailed the Great Lakes for 10 
years before moving to Florida in 1969. 

Surviving are five brothers, Floyd Booms, Bad Axe, Herbert Booms, Jeddo, Alvin 
Booms, and George Booms, both of Minden City, and Daniel Booms, Harbor Beach; 
two sisters, Jerome (Norma) Essenmacher, Carsonville, and Mrs. Joe (Marie) 
Kannikal, Colorado; his stepmother, Mrs. Olive “Gen” Booms, Bad Axe, and a 
stepsister. Mrs. Donald (Patricia) Ney. 

Services were 11 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Helena.  The 
Rev. Stephen Fillion, pastor, officiated.  Burial was in the church cemetery.  
Arrangements were made by Ramsey Funeral Home, Harbor Beach.  Published Minden 
City Herald Thursday November 23, 1989.
