Audrey A. (Gentner) Booms
April 29, 1933 - June 24, 1972
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday in SS. Peter and Paul Catholic 
Church. Ruth, for Audrey A. Booms, 39, wife of Mr. Alvin Booms.   Rev. Robert J. 
Duggan officiated.  Burial was in the church cemetery.  Mrs. Booms died Saturday 
in Henry Ford Hospital after a short illness.  She was born April 29, 1933 in 
Sherman Township.  She graduated from SS. Peter and Paul School in Ruth and 
worked in Detroit for fifteen years. She and Alvin Booms were married May 11, 
1968 in SS. Peter and Paul Church and resided on Mr. Booms farm east of Minden 
City.  Mrs. Booms was treasurer of SS. Peter and Paul Christian Mothers and an 
officer of the parish council. 

Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Julia and Ann, at home, her mother, 
Mrs. Josephine Gentner, Ruth: two sisters, Mrs. Grace Susalla, Center Line and 
Mrs. Marilyn Bornais, Warren and a brother, Dennis Gentner of Ruth. 

Remains were in Bowen Funeral Home, Minden City, where the rosary was recited 
Monday evening by the Christian Mothers and Tuesday evening by Father Duggan.

11, 1968 in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Ruth.
