Elizabeth C. Booms, age 77 of Harbor Beach, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 
2024 at her home, under hospice care.  She was born on December 9, 1946 in 
Harbor Beach, to the late Louis and Margaret (Murray) Reid.  Liz and Ray Booms 
were united in marriage on March 28, 1999.  He preceded her in death on March 
28, 2018.  Liz was always on the go.  She loved taking care of people, and would 
help anyone she could.  She enjoyed shopping for her family and loved being with 
family and friends, especially her grandchildren. 

Liz is survived by her children: Fred Wisenbaugh of Bad Axe, Kimberly (Steve) 
Thoms of Port Hope, 19 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and siblings: Bob 
(Linda) Reid of Harbor Beach, Gwen (Ken) Peyerk of Harbor Beach, Sharon (Lloyd) 
Kramer of Harbor Beach, and many nieces and nephews . She was preceded in death 
by her daughter, Rhonda Pawlowski, her parents Louis and Margaret Reid, and 
brothers: Barry Reid and Louis Reid Jr. 

Funeral Mass for Liz will be Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 11 am at Our Lady 
of Lake Huron Catholic Church, of the Holy Name of Mary Parish, with Fr. Kevin 
Wojciechowski officiaing.  Cremation will follow.  Visitation for Liz will be on 
Friday, from 4-8pm at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Visitation on 
Saturday will be at the church, beginning at 10 am until time of services at 11 
am.  Memorials may be given to the family. The family wishes to send a special 
thank you to all the wonderful people who helped care and their love shown for 
Liz: A & D Hospice, Darleen and Bill Hoff, Jeff & Tammy Mosey, grandchildren:
