Robert L Braun
Harbor Beach, June 24 – Robert L Braun, 56, lifelong resident of this vicinity, 
died Wed night in University Hospital, Ann Arbor, after an illness of three 
weeks. The remains are in his home where the Rosary will be said at 9 p.m. Fri 
(EDT). Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Sat (EDT) in Our Lady of Lake 
Huron Cath ch. Rev James J Marvin will officiate. Burial will be in Rock Falls 
Cemetery. Mr Braun is survived by his widow; three daughters, Mrs Robert 
Tschirhart Port Hope; Mrs Carl Swenson, Saginaw and Miss Gladys Braun, Harbor 
Beach; four sons, Leo, Earl, Robert Jr and clarence Braun all of Harbor Beach; 
four grandchildren; five brothers, Joseph, John, Albert and Arthur Braun all of 
harbor Beach and peter Braun, Detroit and a sister, Mrs William Demming, Ruth He 
was born Dec 5, 1891 in Sand Beach Twp.
