Laverne J. Bukoski
July 18, 1944 - November 1, 2005
Laverne J. Bukoski, 61, of Millington, died Tuesday, November 1, 2005, at home 
with his family.    Laverne was born July 18, 1944 to John and Bertha (Kociba) 
Bukoski in Bad Axe and married Kay Glaza on March 2, 1965 in Ubly.   He was a 
member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was employed by Black and White 
Asphalt Company in Burton.   He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed hunting, 
tractor pulling, and polka music.  

Laverne is survived by his wife, Kay; four children, Jeffery (Tamara) Bukoski, 
of Millington, Colleen Bukoski, of Lake City, Scott (Nancy) Bukoski, of 
Mayville, Greg (Tonya) Bukoski, of Millington; one sister, Doreen (Peter) 
Dickinson, of Ubly; and six grandchildren.   He was preceded in death by his 
parents and one sister, Barbara Bukoski.   

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 4, 2005, at St. 
Joseph Catholic Church in Mayville with Fr. George Serour presiding. Interment 
will be at Watertown Township Cemetery.   A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on 
Thursday at the Avram Funeral Home, 6028 Lincoln Street, Mayville.   
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Avram Funeral Home 
and 10 a.m. until time of the service on Friday at the church.   Memorials may 
be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Family Fund.   Friends may share an
