Ronald Anthony Bukowski May 13, 1935 - February 2, 2020 Ronald Anthony Bukowski, 84, of Metamora died Sunday February 2, 2020 surrounded by family. He was born May 13, 1935 in Hamtramck to parents Sylvester and Lucille (Chinoski) Bukowski. Ron married Marlene I. Rutkowski on November 8, 1958 in Ubly. Mr. Bukowski was drafted into the United States Navy, in 1955. He completed Radio, Electronics & Television School; which proved helpful in his television, technical engineer career. He worked for Channel 12 out of Flint, then most of his career with Channel 4, Detroit, retiring in 1999 after 40 years. One of the family’s great memories, was how he bought most of his kids a wreaked car and rebuilt them to use. That same do it yourself attitude, helped him finish off the interior of their home, growing and giving sweet corn. Ron enjoyed wintering in Florida and playing euchre there. A great event for Ron included: polka dancing, maybe having two beers and some peanuts or being at any family function. He was survived by his wife of 61 years: Marlene, children: Denise (John) Morris of Lapeer; Sue Bukowski of Texas; Sharon Sanburn of Lapeer; Russell (Tracy) Bukowski of Lapeer; Jean (Ben) Wagner of Lake Orion; Philip Bukowski of Metamora and Randy Bukowski of Metamora, 10 grandchildren, 5 great- grandchildren, siblings: Shirley Robinson; Virginia Schaffer; Jane (Robert) Deachin; Richard (Virginia) Bukowski and Roger (Sharon) Bukowski.
