Patrick Loren Burke
February 14, 1880 – September 12, 1975
Patrick L. Burke BROWN CITY - Patrick L. Burke 95, of 6840 Walter St. died 
Friday in Mercy Hospital, Port Huron, after a short illness.  He was born Feb. 
14, 1880, in Minden City.  Mr. Burke married Pauline Van Dalen in 1905, in Ruth.  
They lived in North Branch, Detroit and Brown City.  Mrs. Burke died in 1967.  
Mr. Burke was a retired jeweler.  He is survived by three sons, Jack and Bill 
Burke, both of Brown City, and Joseph Burke, Nakomis, Florida, and a daughter, 
Mrs. Mary Forrester, Berkley, Michigan.

Funeral services win be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 
Brown City.  Rev. Emery Petho, pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in the 
church cemetery.  The remains will be in Carman Funeral Home, Brown City, after 
Noon today.  Published Times Herald (Port Huron, Michigan) Saturday September 
13, 1975.

Notes:  Born in Minden Township to John & Catherine (Sullivan) Burke.  Married 
Mary Pauline Van Dalen December 2, 1905 in Detroit, not Ruth, according to the 
marriage license.
