Mrs Robert P Buckley
Bad Axe, May 28 - Mrs Susie Mae Buckley, 64, wife of Robert P Buckley, 
local shoe merchant, died today in Hubbard Mem Hosp after an illness 
of 2 years. Born in Wayne, MI, Dec 31, 1881, Mrs Buckley came to Bad 
Axe about 55 years ago with her parents, the late Mr and Mrs Spencer 
H Blakely. She was married to Mr Buckley Nov 7, 1901, by the late Rev 
Robert Fulton, Presbyterian pastor. She is survived by her husband; a 
daughter, Mrs Dorothy Carpenter, Detroit; a son, Spencer Buckley, Bad 
Axe; a granddaughter and a sister, Mrs Margaret Tibbits, Royal Oak. Mrs 
Buckley was a member of Huronia chapter no. 81, OES, and First Presbyterian 
church. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Fri, Rev Glenn E Carpenter, 
Holt MI, former pastor of First Presbyterian church here, will officiate. 
Burial will be in Colfax Cemetery.
