Christian John Becking
Bad Axe, March 20 -- Christian John Becking, 52, lifelong resident 
of Sheridan twp, died unexpectedly Sun afternoon in his home. Mr 
Becking had undergone an operation recently and had apparently 
recovered completely until he was stricken fatally Sun afternoon. 
Coroner Alden A Mac Alpine and Deputy Sheriff Roy English were called. 
Coroner MacAlpine said death was due to a heart attack. Funeral 
services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wed in Trinity Evangelical Luth 
Ch in Bingham twp. Mr Becking was an active member of the church. 
Besides his widow, he is survived by 3 sons, Wilbur, 7, Harold, 6, and 
Ernest 4, and 1daughter, Christiana, 1; 2 brothers, Charles and William 
Becking, both of Bad Axe, and 1, Mrs Mary Strauerer.
