William A Becking
Funeral services were conducted Mon afternoon for William A Becking, 
50, Bad Axe, life long resident of Huron county. The services were in 
Our Saviour Luth ch, Bad Axe, with Rev Carl H Trautman officiating. 
Burial was in Colfax cemetery. Born March 10, 1900, in Sheridan twp, 
he lived there until he moved to Bad Axe 3 years ago. He married Jane 
Chesney, Sept 20, 1921, in Bad Axe. He was a farmer many years and 
later drove passenger busses. At the time of his death, he was employed 
at Verona Hills golf course. Survivors are his widow, 2 foster children, 
William Bardwell, Royal Oak and Mrs Louise Smith, Detroit; a brother, 
Charles Becking, Bad Axe and a sister, Mrs Mary Stauer, Harbor Beach.
