Mrs George Bailey
Bad Axe, May 19 - Mrs Mary Magdalene Bailey, 86, widow of George 
Bailey, died Wed in her home in Colfax Twp. Born April 30, 1863, 
in Milford Ireland, Mrs Bailey went to Canada in 1881. She was 
married in 1883 at Ingersoll, Ont, to Mr Bailey and they came to 
Bad Axe in 1901. Mr Bailey died in 1905. She is survived by a daughter, 
Mrs Elbert Greene, Bad Axe; 6 sons, James, William and Robert Bailey, 
all of Bad Axe, and George, Charles and Edward Bailey, all of Battle 
Creek; 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, Mrs Michael 
O'Connors and Mrs Edward Nicholson, both of Los Angeles. Funeral services 
will be held at 10 a.m. Sat in Sacred Heart Cath ch. Burial will be in 
Colfax Cemetery. The remains are in the Alden A MacAlpine funeral home.
