Mrs Sarah Rebecca Black
Mrs Sarah Black, 65, resident of Sheridan and Bingham twp all her life 
died in the Bad Axe Gen Hosp Sun, April 8 after a 2 year illness. She 
was born June 21, 1879 near Lindsay Ont and came to MI in 1880. She was 
married to Duncan A Black in Sheridan twp Nov 30, 1898. Mr Black died 
Jan 25, 1943. She is survived by 1 son, Irie S Black, Bad Axe; 2 brothers, 
Russell Western, Ubly; Harvey Western, Port Huron; 1 sister, Mrs Frank 
McKenzie, Ubly; 1 granddaughter Helen Black, Bad Axe; She was a member 
of the Bingham Free Methodist ch. Funeral services will be held Tues 
from the Bad Axe Free Meth ch with Burial in the Colfax cemetery.
