Timothy was born in Pigeon on Feb 19, 1926. He entered the service May 10, 1944 and trained at Camp Hood, TX. He was home on furlough in Nov and went overseas in Dec. He was well known and had many friends in Bad Axe. Surviving besides his parents are 2 brothers, Pvt Harold Bannick, Camp Gordon, GA and James at home; and 2 sisters, Mrs Vincent Maurer and Adeline Bannick, both of Bad Axe. Huron Tribune Date unknown
