Frank J Booms (Oct 25, 1968)
Ruth -- Frank J Booms, 71, retired farmer of Sherman twp, Huron co, died 
today in Deckerville Comm Hosp, after an illness of 2 months.  Son of the 
late Henry and Anna Mausolf Booms, he was born June 16, 1897 in Sherman 
twp, where he was a lifelong resident. He and Theresa Tenbusch were 
married Nov 16, 1920. they farmed in Sherman twp until 1963 when they 
retired and moved to Ruth. Surviving are his widow, 7 daughters, Mrs 
William Bishop, Memphis; Mrs Titus Salowitz and Mrs Donald Lang, both of 
Palms, Mrs Clarence Woldridge, East Detroit; Mrs Ira Wrubel and Mrs Richard 
Lemanski, both of Harbor Beach and Mrs Bernard Wrubel, Detroit; 4 sons, 
Melvin, Eugene, Vincent and Angus Booms, all of Harbor Beach; 47 grandchildren; 
3 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Edward, Ruth, Norman, Detroit; Marcus, 
Lake City and 2 sisters, Mrs Charles Wolschlager, Bad Axe and Mrs Christina 
Page, Ruth. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Mon in SS Peter & 
Paul Cath ch, Ruth. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
