(Stacer) Clor February 23, 1908 – April 16, 2000 Mrs. Juanita M. Clor, 92, of Ruth died Sunday evening, April 16, 2000, at the Harbor Beach Long Term Care Facility. She was born February 23, 1908, in Ruth, daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Volmering) Stacer. She married Nicholas Clor on October 22, 1929, at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ruth. He preceded her in death on December 8, 1964. She was a graduate of Country School. She worked with her family on the farm before her marriage, then worked with her husband on the farm. She moved to Ruth in 1970 and was a former member of the Farm Bureau. She was a parishioner of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ruth. She enjoyed quilting, needlework and gardening. She is survived by one daughter, Mary Jane Bismack of Roseville; one son, Ronald Clor and his wife, Rosalee, of Clinton Township; 10 grandsons; two granddaughters; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and two brothers, Harold Stacer of Ruth and Merlin Stacer and his wife, Magdalene, of Ruth. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Doris Ann White; infant sister, Adelaide Stacer; and four brothers, Robert, Wilfred, Quentin and Jerome Stacer. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2000, at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ruth. The Rev. Ronald Wagner, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. There will be a parish wake service at 8 p.m. tonight by Fr. Wagner at Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly. Visitation will be 1:30 to 9:30 p.m. today and from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
