Luke J. Clor Caro Died suddenly Monday, July 14, 1986 at Harbor Beach Community Hospital. He was 59. He was born November 24, 1924 in Sherman Township of Huron County to Joseph and Clara (Messing) Clor. He married the former Nora Smith on November 22, 1947 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church of Ruth. They moved to Caro in 1972. He was a member of Local 7 of the Mason and Contractors Union of Saginaw and was a life member of Harbor Beach Post 9344 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church of Wilmot. He is survived by his wife, five daughters, Elaine Leese of Sandusky, Catherine Lymen of Detroit, Fran Robbins of West Point, New York, and Elizabeth Knight of Texas; five sons, Luke Clor Jr. of California, David and John Clor of Farmington Hills, George Clor of Detroit and Michael Clor of Georgia; his mother, now of Harbor Beach; four brothers, Fabian Clor of Harbor Beach, Gabriel Clor of Sterling Heights, Ben Clor of Detroit and Gerald Clor of Davison; four sisters, Marie Klee and Regina Hanselman of Ruth,, Joane Slavick of Oak Park and Patricia Clor of Harbor Beach; and 14 grandchildren. Funeral services were Thursday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church of Ruth with the Rev. Loren Kalinowski officiating. Burial was in the St. John’s Cemetery in Forestville.
