Caroline (Terbrack) Clor September 21, 1878 - April 3, 1962 Mrs. Caroline Clor, 83, widow of Joseph Clor, died unexpectedly Tuesday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert Downey, in Harbor Beach. Born September 21, 1878, in Cleveland, Mrs. Clor came when a child with her parents to Sherman township, Huron County. She lived since then in this vicinity. She was married in January, 1899, to Mr. Clor in SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ruth. He died August 20, 1928. Mrs. Clor is survived by four daughters, Sister Louis Gonzaga, St. Agatha's Convent in Gagetown; Sister Catherine Joseph, SS. Peter and Paul Convent in Ruth; Mrs. Arthur Messing, Ruth, and Mrs. Downey; four sons, Joseph, Nicholas and Jacob Clor, all of Harbor Beach and Leo Clor, Ruth; 40 grandchildren. 68 great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Henry Hessling, Harbor Beach. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in SS. Peter and Paul Church in Ruth by Rt. Rev. Msgr. Frank W. Kaufmann. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The remains are in Zinger Funeral Home, Ruth, where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday by Monsignor Kauffman. Published Port Huron Times Herald Wednesday April 4, 1962.
