Mr. Clor was born August 9, 1881 on the farm where he died. He and Miss Mary Terbrack were married October 18, 1905. Mr. Clor was an honorary member of Bad Axe council No. 1,546, Knights of Columbus, and a charter member of the Ruth Knights of Columbus club. He is survived by his widow, five sons, Celestine, Harbor Beach; Daniel, Minden City; Samuel, Port Huron; Thomas, of Ruth, and Howard, who lives with his parents; two daughters, Mrs. John Selke and Mrs. Anthony Seidl, both of Harbor Beach; 19 grandchildren, two brothers, Albert and Charles, both of Minden City, and four sisters, Mrs. John Stimpfel, Minden City; Mrs. Bert Van Dalen and Mrs. Eva Herzog, both of Flint, and Miss Josephine Clor, Minden City. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday in SS. Peter and Paul Catholic church in Ruth. Rev. Frank W. Kaufmann will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Remains are in the family residence where Rosary devotions will be conducted at 8 p.m. Sunday by the Knights of Columbus.
