January 10, 1924 - April 27, 1999
Rita A. Clor, age 75 of Minden City died Tuesday April 27 1999 at Four Seasons 
Healthcare Center of Bad Axe after a long illness.  She was born January 10, 
1924 in Ruth Michigan daughter of the late David and Christina (Booms) Page.  
She married Harold J. Clor on November 22, 1943 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic 
Church of Ruth.  He preceded her in death on October 11, 1977.  She was a 
graduate of the Pumpkin Center Country School.  She farmed with her family.  She 
attended various churches in the area. 

She is survived by two daughters; Helen (Fred) Sweet of Minden City and Judy 
(Joseph) Prange of Minden City; eight grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 
many nieces and nephews; five sisters: Florence Horeski of Madison Heights, 
Marion (Joe) Mazure of Kinde, Lillian Sweigert of Kinde, Roseann Desroiser of 
Madison Heights, and Bertha (Fred) Kramer of Frederick Michigan, five brothers: 
Romanus (Phillis) Page of Warren, Clarence (Johanna) Page of Frederick Michigan, 
Joe (Gladys) Page of Mt. Clemens, George Page of Harbor Beach and Leroy Page of 
Ruth.  She was preceded in death by her husband Harold in 1977, a son James in 
1947, brother, Raymond Page and a sister, Margaret Carson.

Funeral services were held on Friday April 30, 1999 at 11 a.m .at the Smigielski 
Funeral Home of Minden City.  Rev. Ellen Burns pastor of the Minden City United 
Methodist Church officiated.  Burial was in the Minden City Cemetery.  
Visitation was held at the Smigielski Funeral Home on Cass Ave. in Minden City 
on Thursday from 12:30 to 9:30 p.m. and on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the 
service time at 1:00 a.m.  Published Harbor Beach Times Thursday May 6, 1999.
