Louise C. (Heilig) Clor
December 15, 1902 - March 17, 1997
Louise C. Clor, age 94, of Harbor Beach, passed away on Monday, March 17, 1997, 
at the Harbor Beach Community Hospital Long Term Care Unit.  She was born on 
December 15, 1902 in Minden City, daughter of the late Charles and Cathleen 
(Maurer) Heilig.  She and Celestine Clor were married October 6, 1937 at Sts. 
Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ruth by Fr. Frank Kaufman.  Mr. Clor preceded 
her in death on May 12, 1984.  Mrs. Clor owned and operated the former Ruth Bar 
for several years along with her husband.  She was a member of Our Lady of Lake 
Huron Catholic Church in Harbor Beach. Louise C. Clor, age 94, of 

Surviving are four sisters-inlaws, Marie A. Clor of Minden City, Marie M. Clor 
of Port Huron, Agnes C.
Clor of Harbor Beach and Charlotte Seidl of Detroit; one brother-in-law, Anthony 
Seidl of Detroit; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by 
a son; two brothers, Carl and August Heilig; and one sister, Frieda Heilig. 

Services were Thursday at Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church in Harbor 
Beach. Fr. Edward J.
Konieczka, pastor, officiated.  Burial was in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic 
Cemetery in Ruth.  Arrangements were conducted by the Ramsey Funeral Home (A 
Golden Rule Funeral Home) of Harbor Beach.  Published Minden City Herald 
Thursday March 27, 1997.
