Daniel James Clor
May 17, 1945 - July 19, 2021
Daniel James Clor, age 76, was called home to his heavenly Father on July 19, 
2021 in Akron, Ohio.  He was born to parents Daniel F. and Marie A. (Puvalowski) 
Clor on May 17, 1945 in Deckerville, Michigan.   A devoted and loving husband, 
father, grandfather, and friend.  His love and affection were driven by his 
deep-rooted faith.  Daniel was a devout and active member of St. Francis Xavier 
Catholic Church and those that knew him would describe him as faithful, loving, 
strong, devoted, lively and that he would ‘do anything’ for others.  He worked 
as a mechanical engineer for over 42 years prior to his retirement.

Daniel is survived by his loving wife, Theresa L. (Rardin) Clor; children, Aimee 
(Jeff) Kirsch, Julie (Raj) Daswani and Christine Clor; 9 grandchildren, Isaac, 
Noah, Makenzie, Aaron, Madalynn, Lilliann, Adelyne, Breyden, and Tessa; 
siblings, Nancy Heilig, Richard (Evelyn) Clor, David (Beverly) Clor, Kathleen 
(Thomas) Heilig, Kenneth (Adrianne) Clor, and Mary Clor (Gerald Grekowicz); and 
a lifetime of collected friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Daniel’s memory to St. 
Francis Xavier Catholic church.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 606 E 
Washington St., Medina, Ohio 44256 with Father Tony Sejba at 11:00 a.m on Monday 
July 26, 2021.  Published Minden City Herald Thursday July 29, 2021.
