Mechelle Cloutier
March 4, 1963 - May 21, 2022
Mechelle Annette Cloutier, 59, of Fort Gratiot Township, passed away peacefully 
at Blue Water Hospice House on Saturday May 21, 2022 after a long and courageous 
battle with cancer and COPD.  She was born March 4, 1963 in Harbor Beach to the 
late William & Lavonne Cloutier.

Mechelle graduated from Harbor Beach High School in 1981 and St. Clair County 
Community College.  She was a floral designer and operated Ruffs Flowers for 
many years.  She was also employed at Acheson Colloids, Port Huron Hospital and 
Visiting Nurses Association.  She enjoyed crafting and collecting beach glass on 
her beach walks.  She loved spending time with family, especially her grandson 
Hudson, her pride and joy.
She is survived by her daughter, Danielle (Derek) Sheridan; grandson, Hudson and 
another grandson on the way; mother, Lavonne Cloutier; siblings, Dawn Cloutier, 
Lynette (Thomas) Mattise, Scott (Ayako) Cloutier, and William (Brenda) Cloutier 
Jr.; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in 
death by her father, William R. Cloutier Sr.

Private family memorial services have been held.  Memorial contributions may be 
made to the Capuchin Kitchen or Blue Water Hospice House.  Arrangements are by 
Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Published in Times Herald Port Huron May 21, 2022.
