Rita Marie Cook
Rita Marie Cook, age 97 of Parisville, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021 at 
Sanilac Medical Care Facility in Sandusky.
She was born on September 16, 1923 in Parisville, to the late Robert and Emma 
(Fisher) Ertman. Rita and Albert Cook were united in marriage on October 21, 
1944 in Parisville, he preceded her in death on April 20, 1999.
Rita was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church of Parisville, the VFW Auxiliary, 
and the St. Mary Sodality. She loved to polka dance, 
She is survived by her children: Beverly LeGault of Sandusky, Janice (Herb) 
Chinoski of Rochester, Larry (Cathy) Cook of Harbor Beach, Sharon (Fiancé 
Kerry) Bosch of Georgia, Mark Cook of Filion, daughter-in-law Vicky Cook of 
Clinton Township, 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 1 great great 
grandchild, sister: Marlene (Roger) Kincaid of Ubly, and sisters-in-law: 
Gloriann Ertman of Troy and Martha Ertman of Romulus.
Rita was preceded in death by her sons: Albert Cook, Jr., Dean Cook, son-in-law 
Richard LeGault, grandson Joey LeGault, and siblings: Norman, Clarence, Floyd, 
Jerome and Sister Mary Gloria Ertman.
Funeral Mass for Rita, will be Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 11 am at St. Mary 
Catholic Church, of the St. Isidore Parish. Burial will follow in the church 
cemetery. Visitation for Rita will be at the church, on Thursday, from 9 am 
until time of services at 11 am. Arrangements are being handled by the Ramsey 
Funeral Home of Harbor Beach.

Additional Comments:
I knew the Ertman and Fisher family very well and was friend with Rita Marie  
only living brother Clarence J Artman and his late wife Agnes until his and her 
death.
