Mrs. Cook became ill Saturday afternoon and attending physicians ordered her removed immediately to the hospital. She was dead when the ambulance reached the hospital. Coroner Alden A. MacAlpine and State Police investigated. Coroner MacAlpine said death was caused by a cerebral hemorrhage. Published Times Herald (Port Huron, Michigan) Sunday March 3, 1946 ------------ Parisville, March 4 Funeral services for Mrs. Clara (Kucharczyk) Cook, 47, who died unexpectedly Saturday in Hubbard Memorial Hospital, Bad Axe, will be held at 9 a. m. Thursday in St. Mary's Catholic church here. Rev. Joseph L. Koper, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Through error, it was stated in Sunday's issue that Mrs. Cook died in an ambulance on the way to the hospital. She died of a cerebral hemorrhage about 20 minutes after she was admitted to the hospital. Mrs. Cook is survived by her husband, Roman Cook, proprietor of a hotel here; three sons, S/Sgt. Eugene Cook, who recently returned to Texas after re-enlisting in the Army after being discharged; Donald Cook, discharged from the Army last week, and Roman Cook Jr., Parisville; a grandchild, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Trepkowski, Ubly; five sisters, Mrs. Joseph Jaroch and Mrs. Xavier Alandt, both of Ubly; Mrs. John Klebba and Mrs. Edward Makowski, both of Harbor Beach, and Mrs. Marshall Swartz, Minden City; and five brothers, Leo and Ira Trepkowski, both of Detroit; Julius and Joseph Trepkowski, both of Ruth, and Walter Trepkowski, Palms.
