Mrs Albena Cregeur
Funeral services for Mrs Albena Cregeur, 89, will be held Sat morning in St 
Edwards Cath ch, Kinde. Fr Frederick Maynard will conduct the services. Mrs 
Cregeur died Wed morning in Kinde at the home of her daughter, Mrs Edward 
Storbeck. Born April 4, 1860 in Canada, Mrs Cregeur had made her home in 
Kinde for the past 9 years. Her husband, Eberice, died March 24. They would have 
celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary Oct 1.  

Mrs Cregeur is survived by 5 daughters, Mrs Margaret Baratt, San Diego, CA; Mrs 
Genevieve Doyle and Mrs Luella Brown, both of Detroit; Mrs Amelia LaBell, 
Midland and Mrs Storbeck. Also surviving are 5 sons, Wilfred, Gagetown; John, 
Kinde; Cyril, Filion; Raymond, Detroit and Cletus, Caseville and 3 sisters, Mrs 
Mary Cregeur, Gagetown; Mrs Amelia Donovan and Mrs Nellie Scuder, both of San 
Diego. 51 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild 
also survive her. The remains are at the Hunten funeral home in Kinde. Burial 
will be at Colfax cemetery.
