Mrs Jay Cole
Funeral services for Mrs Meta Belle Cole, 58, wife of Jay Cole and 
former Bad Axe resident, will be at 2 p.m. Sat in First Methodist 
church here. She was born June 4, 1890 in Meade Twp and had lived 
all her life in Huron co. She moved from Bad Axe to Sand Beach Twp 
5 years ago. She married Jay Cole Nov 11, 1908. Mrs Cole was a member 
of Rebekah Lodge and the Methodist ch in Bad Axe and the Past Grand 
Club in Harbor Beach. Her survivors are her husband and 1 daughter, 
Mrs Elvia Slack, Vancouver, British Columbia. The remains will be 
taken to the church at noon Sat. Burial will be in Colfax Cemetery.
