Zdrojewski, 84, of Palms, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2006, at Autumnwood of Deckerville. He was born July 14, 1921 in Palms to the late William and Lucy (Partaka) Zdrojewski. He married Louise Essenmacher on May 13, 1942 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bad Axe. Daniel was an eighth- grade graduate of a country school. He farmed for many years. He worked at Clements Manufacturing for 20 years. He worked at General Cable in Cass City, retiring on July 14, 1984, after 21 years of employment. He worked for Mullett Muck Farm for 10 years and Brian Williams Potato Farm for five years. He was a lifelong member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Palms, where he was an usher. He was the caretaker at St. Patrick Cemetery for 10 years. He was a member of the Cass City Knights of Columbus Council No. 8892. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and visiting with family and friends. Daniel is survived by his wife of 63 years, Louise, of Palms; three sons, Roger Zdrojewski and his wife, Annette, of Arizona, William Zdrojewski of Coleman, and Phillip Zdrojewski and his wife, JoAnn, of Palms; daughter-in-law, Michelle Zdrojewski Leeson and her husband, Fred, of Cass City; ten grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one step great-grandson; two brothers, Edward Zdrojewski and his wife, Bernita, of Sandusky, Anthony (Whitey) Zdrojewski and his wife, Doris, of Palms; and three sisters, Grace Graff, of Palms, Florence Hamill, of Port Sanilac, and Clara Essenmacher, of Ruth. He was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth; one brother, James Zdrojewski; one sister, Lucille Tepper; and four brothers-in-law, Edward Graff, Cecil Hamill, John Essenmacher, and Albert Tepper. Services for Daniel Zdrojewski will be conducted at a later date. Memorials have been requested to be sent to American Cancer Society, United Hospice of Marlette, or the Family Discretionary Fund.
