Selma was born June 26, 1917 in Paris Township, to the late Joseph and Lucy (Woyciechowski) Peplinski. She married Raymond Danielski on June 25, 1938 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Parisville. He preceded her in death July 19, 2000. She was a graduate of the Paris District No. 1 Country School. She was a lifelong parishioner at St. Mary Catholic Church in Parisville where she was a member and former officer of the St. Mary Rosary Sodality. She was a cook at St. Mary Catholic School for 17 years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of the Parisville VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing euchre, crocheting, gardening & visiting with family and friends. Selma is survived by her children, Jean Zulcosky and her special friend, Ray Dekoski, of Mt. Dora, Florida, Melvin Danielski and his wife, Dee, of Macomb, Thomas Danielski and his wife, Janet, of Sterling Heights, David Danielski and his wife, Elaine, of Shelby Township, Raymond Danielski Jr. and his special friend, Suzy Sachs, of Madison Heights, and Beverly Palmer and her husband, Joseph, of Ubly; 13 grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; 33 great- grandchildren; two brothers, Arthur Peplinski of Minden City and Ernest Peplinski of South Lyon; three sisters, Irene Zalewski of Northville, Alma Osentoski of Garden City and Elsie Peruski of South Lyon; three sisters-in- law, Leona Peplinski of Ruth, Margaret Danielski of Ubly and Gertrude Danielski of Harbor Beach; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by son-in-law, Robert Zulcosky; daughter-in-law, Betty (Red) Danielski; grandson, Mark Zulcosky; three brothers, Elmer, Edward and Frank Peplinski; and three sisters, Bertha Vincent, Mary Maraj and Emily Kopinski. The funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Parisville. The Rev. Peter Nwokoye, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Church only. There will be rosary by the St. Mary Rosary Sodality at 4 p.m. Tuesday and a parish vigil service at 7 p.m. Both services will be at the funeral home.
