Shadrach T Dean
Bad Axe - A retired farmer, Shadrach T Dean, 88, was buried Mon morning 
following funeral rites in Sacred Heart Cath ch conducted by Rt Rev Msgr Charles 
A Roark. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Dean, who lived in Huron county 
for 76 years, died Fri afternoon in Rapson Convalescent home, Pigeon, where he 
was a patient for a hear and a half.  He was born in Parkhill, Ont, Oct 26, 1865 
and lived in the county since his family came here 12 years later. Surviving are 
three sons, Frank Dean, Utica, Willis, harbor Beach and Ray, Bad Axe; two 
daughters, Mrs. Margaret Conley, Pasadena, CA and Mrs. Ethel Long, Bad Axe; 
seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; a brother Peter Dean, LaMont, IL 
and two sisters, Mrs. Walter Crane and Miss Nellie Dean, both of Chicago.
