Eugene Depcinski
February 3, 1931 – March 26, 2010
Eugene Depcinski, 79, of Bad Axe, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2010 at Bay 
Regional Medical Center in Bay City.  He was born February 3, 1931 in Bad Axe, 
the son of the late Leo and Agnes (Glaza) Depcinski.  He married Dorothy Beaver 
on May 25, 1971 in Bad Axe.  She preceded him in death.  He married Molly 
Abraham-Peruski on October 14, 2000 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in 
Parisville.  Eugene farmed for many years and worked for Active Industries in 
Elkton and Pigeon Manufacturing before retiring.  He was a member of St. John 
Catholic Church in Ubly and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Bad Axe 
council.  Eugene enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and being with his family.

He is survived by his wife Molly of Bad Axe; two brothers, Raymond (Rita) 
Depcinski of Bad Axe, Clarence (Leona) Depcinski of Ubly; one sister, Jardine 
Zurek of Bad Axe; two stepsons; seven step-daughters; several nieces, nephews 
and step-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 29, 2010 at St. John 
Catholic Church in Ubly. Fr. Joseph Griffin, pastor will officiate.  Burial 
will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Bad Axe.  Visitation will be from 1 to 8 
p.m. on Sunday, at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe and from noon until the 
time of service Monday at the church.  A parish scripture will be offered at 
6:30 p.m. on Sunday followed by a Knights of Columbus rosary at 7:30 p.m., both 
at the funeral home.
