Depcinski January 5, 1940 - May 29, 2015 Clarence J. Depcinski, 75, of Bad Axe, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on January 5, 1940, in Bad Axe, son of the late Leo and Agnes (Glaza) Depcinski. He married Leona Schmitz on July 25, 1964, in St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ruth. Clarence Depcinski Clarence was a longtime Sheridan Township farmer. He was a member of the Ubly Foxhunters Club and the Ubly Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed playing euchre, polka music and watching NASCAR racing. He received a heart transplant on July 14, 1996. He is survived by his wife, Leona Depcinski of Bad Axe; one daughter, Brenda Depcinski of Roseville; four sons, Douglas (Arlene) Depcinski of Bay City, Kevin Depcinski of Bad Axe, Duane Depcinski of Bad Axe, and Jason Depcinski and special friend, Nichelle Finkbeiner, of Bad Axe; one brother, Raymond (Rita) Depcinski of Bad Axe; one sister, Jardine Zurek of Bad Axe; one sister-in-law, Molly Depcinski of Bad Axe; five grandchildren, Travis Depcinski of Bay City, Tricia Depcinski of Bay City, Steven Depcinski of Bad Axe, Isaac Depcinski of Bad Axe, and Landen Depcinski of Bad Axe; and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by two sons, Michael Depcinski and Terry Depcinski; one brother, Eugene Depcinski; one brother-in-law, Robert Zurek; and one sister-in- law, Dorothy Depcinski. A mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at St. Hubert Parish-Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bad Axe. Officiating will be Fr. Rob Howe, pastor. Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery in Ubly. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. A scripture service will be offered at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
