Steven J. Depcinski, 27, of Cass City died unexpectedly Thursday, September 10, 
2015.  He was born June 30, 1988, in Bad Axe, the second of three children born 
to Albert and Ann (Goniwiecha) Depcinski.  He married Sara Lynn Lakie August 
15, 2015, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Sebewaing.

Steve graduated from Ubly High School in 2006.  He started his own business, 
Depcinski Trucking, LLC, after graduation.  Steve was a self-taught mechanic 
and could fix anything.  He enjoyed snowmobiling, racing four wheelers and dirt 
bikes.  Steve was always happy, always had a smile on his face and had a great 
sense of humor.  He could make anyone smile.  He was a loving husband, son, 
brother and friend to all.

Steve is survived by his wife, Sara; parents, Albert and Ann Depcinski of Ubly; 
brother, Andrew (Michelle) Depcinski of Ubly; sister, Heather Depcinski of 
Ubly; nephews, Mason and Collin; grandparents, Allen and Alice Depcinski of 
Cass City; father- and mother-in-law, Bill and JoAnn Lakie of Sebewaing; and 
brother-in-law, Joshua (Jessica Gremel) Lakie of Dearborn.  He is preceded in 
death by his grandparents, Richard and Jeanette Goniwiecha.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept.r 14, 2015, in Kranz 
Funeral Home, Cass City, with Rev. Michael Boyer of Immanuel Lutheran Church, 
Sebewaing officiating. Pallbearers for Steven will be Andrew Depcinski, Joshua 
Lakie, Justin Gentner, Nicholas Lindquist, Troy Helewski, Keith Kramer, Luke 
Maurer, Adam Laeder, Keith Maurer.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015, in Kranz Funeral 
Home - Cass City, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14, 2015, in Kranz 
Funeral Home - Cass City.
Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund. Family and friends may 
share memories, prayers and stories with the family at
