Stephanie Marion (Kubacki) Dunavent
January 9, 1929 - August 11, 1998
Mrs. Stephanie Marion Dunavant, 69, of Mayfield, Kentucky, formerly of Ubly, 
died Tuesday, August 11, 1998 in Vanderbilt University Hospital.  She was 
born January 9, 1929 in Ubly, daughter of the late John and Clara 
(Gosdzinski) Kubacki.  She married Earl E. Dunavant. 

Surviving are her husband, Earl Dunavant, of Mayfield, Kentucky; two 
daughters, Marilyn Gentry and her husband, Sherrell, of Hot Springs, North 
Carolina, and Gail Parker and her husband, Jerry, of Garden City; one son, 
Dennis Dunavant and his wife, Thresea, of Wingo, Kentucky; seven 
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Alice Champagne 
and her husband, Irvin, of Caseville. 

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.  Mass of 
Resurrection was held Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Parisville.  
Rev. James Krasman, pastor, officiated.  Burial was in St Mary's Cemetery.  
Cremation has taken place in Kentucky.  Arrangements were handled by the 
Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home of Ubly.  Published Minden City Herald 
Thursday August 20, 1998.
