Mr. Ebach was a retired Senior Master Sergeant with the U. S. Air Force for 23 years. Following his retirement, he worked as a rural mail carrier for the U. S. Postal Service for 15 years. He was one of the founding members of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Waldorf and a member of the Knights of Columbus Bryantown Council. He was also a member of V.F.W. and the American Legion Posts in Waldorf. He enjoyed fishing. Born January 25, 1933, in Berkley, Michigan, he was the son of the late Joseph A. Ebach and the late Elizabeth Tenbusch Ebach. Predeceased by his parents only. Survived by his wife, Rollande Esther Ebach; daughter Elizabeth and her husband Andrew Gilliland of Waldorf, MD; sons Paul R. and his wife Tracy Ebach of Mechanicsville, MD; Eric and his wife Lorie Ebach of Waldorf, MD; brother Marvin Ebach of Warren, MI. Also survived by grandchildren Laura Ebach, Elliot and Zachary Centrella, Sarah and Alan Gilliland. Visitation will be Thursday, June 10, 2010, from 5PM to 8PM with Prayers at 7PM at the Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, June 11, 2010, at 11AM at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church on Village Street, Waldorf, MD. Father Eamon Dignan will officiate. Interment will be at Maryland Veterans Cemetery Cheltenham, Maryland on Monday, June 14, 2010, at 11AM with U. S. Air Force Honors. Arrangements provided by Raymond Funeral Service.
