Mrs Minor Edwards
Bad Axe, March 2 – Mrs Muriel Irene Edwards, 48, wife of Minor Edwards, died 
late Mon in Bad Axe General Hospital after an illness of two months. Funeral 
services will be held at 2 p.m. Fri in First Presbyterian ch. Rev Manson H Lowe 
will officiate. Burial will be in Colfax cemetery where Huronia chapter No 81, 
OES will conduct services.  

Mrs Edwards is survived by her husband, three sons, Glen, Dornis and Omer 
Edwards, all of Bad Axe; two grandchildren, a brother, Asa Apley, Bad Axe; and 
two sisters, Mrs Harvey Krug, Bad Axe and Mrs Nellie Fordon, Detroit. She was 
born Oct 14, in St Clair co near Goodells and came to Huron co with her parents, 
the late Mr & Mrs Jira Apley, 45 years ago. She was married Feb 12, 1918 to Mr 
Edwards. She was a member of Huronia chapter, the Presbyterian ch, and auxiliary 
to Sherman Elvin post no 96, American Legion.
