She was born on July 24, 1924 to the late August and Mary Kubacki. She was united in marriage to the late Alvin Eilers on February 23, 1946 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church at Smith Corners. Christina was a resident of Bad Axe and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. She worked in healthcare for many years at Sunny Acres Nursing Home, Huron Medical Center, and Tendercare Home Health. After her retirement, she loved being with and traveling to see her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed polka music, gardening, delivering Meals on Wheels, senior bus trips, bingo, and assisting the Special Olympics as a bowling partner. Chris is survived by four daughters, Barbara Eilers, of New Orleans; Mary (Robert) Corbett, of Lansing, and their children, Erin and William; Pauline (James) Myler, of Gaylord, and their children, James, Christian, Aaron, Rebekah, and Emily; and Donna Falardeau, of Waterford, and her daughter, Abigail; and seven sons, Donald (Gay) Eilers, of Port Huron, and their children, James (Deborah), Eric, and Elizabeth (Jason) Heffner; Alvin (Lynne) Eilers, of Traverse City and their daughter, Laura (Anthony) Tridico; Charles (Sue) Eilers, of Millington, and their children, Brian, Michelle, and Pam (Travis) Cooper; David (Jeanne) Eilers, and their children, Chris (Laura), Katherine, and Matthew; Michael (Dianne) Eilers, of Bad Axe, and their children, Noelle, Marcy, Ryan (Frances), Rory Eilers, and Danny Dekoske; Steven (Sheila) Eilers, of Sanger, Texas, and their children, Patrick, Stephen, Meghan, and Leif; and Harold (Angela), of Amarillo, Texas, and children, Jenny, Sam, Alex, Holly, Hannah, and Haley. Christina's grandchildren have blessed her with nine great-grandchildren, Addison and Conner Eilers; John and Anthony Tridico; Adriana, Kate, and Travis Cooper; and Freddie Santiago and Tyler Eilers. Christina is also survived by five sisters and four brothers, Beatrice (Elmer) Micklash, of Ubly, Frances Polega, of Kinde, Eleanor (Herb) Fligger, of Ubly, Rose Smith, of Filion, Jeanette (Bob) Skipinski, of Lakeville, August (Delores) Kubacki, of Livonia, Eugene (Betty) Kubacki, of Ubly, Anthony (Maryann) Kubacki, of Cass City, Edward (Delores) Kubacki, of Port Austin; and sisters-in-law: Evelyn Stoutenberg, of Lapeer, Ruthie Johns, of Drayton Plains; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin; one son-in-law, William Falardeau; one granddaughter, Hannah Myler; and one brother, Felix Kubacki. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
