Michael L. Eilers
October 24, 1954 – November 6, 2018
Michael L. Eilers, 64, of Pigeon and formerly of Bad Axe, passed away on 
November 6, 2018, at Scheurer Hospital after a long illness.  He was born on 
October 24, 1954, in Bad Axe, to the late Alvin and Christina (Kubacki) 
Eilers.  Michael retired from the Huron County Road Commission.  In his spare 
time, he enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle, hunting, fishing and watching 
the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Red Wings.  

Michael is survived by his children Noel Eilers, Marcia (Ken) Storsin, Michael 
Ryan (Frances) Eilers, and Rory (Amber) Eilers; his grandchildren Luis, Tyler, 
Austin, Tre, Nathan, Kayla, Andre'a and Tristan; and one great-grandson Liam.  
He is also survived by his siblings: Donald (Gay) Eilers, Alvin (Lynne) Eilers, 
Barbara Eilers, Charles (Sue) Eilers, David (Jeanne) Eilers, Steven (Sheila) 
Eilers, Mary (Bob) Corbett, Harold Eilers, Pauline (James) Myler and Donna 
(Peter) Marik; his special friend, Wilma Grigg; and many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Christina Eilers and a baby 
grandson, Seth.  A celebration of life service will be noon at the MacAlpine 
Funeral Home on Saturday, November 10, 2018.  Burial will follow at Sacred 
Heart Catholic Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 
time of service at MacAlpine Funeral Home. Memorials may be offered to be used 
at the family's discretion.  Condolences can be shared at
