Mrs Jordan Eisengruber
Bad Axe, June 2 – Mrs Merwenna M Eisengruber, 48, wife of Jordan Eisengruber, 
Bad Axe druggist, died Tues afternoon in Bad Axe General hospital after an 
illness of two days from a cerebral hemorrhage. The remains are in the family 
residence at 305 Willis St. Funeral services have not been arranged. Mrs 
Eisengruber is survived by her husband, two sisters, Mrs Margaret Mack, Detroit 
and Mrs Helen Zack, Port Austin, and three brothers, Ela Nugent, Bad Axe, Harry 
Nugent, Walled Lake, MI and Richard Nugent, Neekoosa, WI.  She was born July 13, 
1899 in Bad Axe and was graduated in 1919 by St Mary's Academy in Monroe, MI. 
The former Miss Merwenna Nugent, she was married Oct 23, 1937 to Mr Eisengruber 
in St Marty Cath ch in Redford, MI. She was a member of Sacred Heart ch, Bad Axe 
and Fidelis Regina circle, Daughters of Isabella.
