Mr Elliott had been in ill health. Barking of the dog aroused Mr Elliott's family to the barn where he was found. Mr Elliott's farm is located in Bloomfield twp about five miles southwest of port Hope. He was last seen about 11 a.m. Sgr Fred Ennis and coroner William T Collon investigated. The body was taken to the Glass funeral home in Harbor Beach. Surviving are his widow, three daughters, Mrs Edward Iseler(?) Detroit, and Mrs Edward Kramer, Detroit; two sons, Harry and Vern(?) both at home.
