Arlene Marie (Holdwick) Emming March 1, 1938 - November 23, 2021 Arlene Marie Emming, age 83 of Harbor Beach, passed way November 23, 2021 at Courtney Manor. She was born on March 1, 1938 in Sand Beach Township to the late Jerome and Stella Holdwick. She married Robert William Emming on June 1, 1957 in Helena. He proceeded her in death on October 10, 2014. Arlene attended Ashmore Country School for 9 years. She graduated from OLLH High School in June 1953. She obtained her ART (Accredited Record Technician) Degree through American Medical Record Association. Arlene worked at Klump's Restaurant for several years. She worked at Harbor Beach Community Hospital for 27 ½ years in the medical record department. While there she was the Medical Records Director. She was a member of St. Anthony's Helena and OLLH (Holy Name of Mary Parish) in Harbor Beach, all her life. She sang in the choir at St. Anthony's for many years. She loved to cook and she baked many wedding cakes. She crochet and knitted sweaters for Knit for Kids for needy children, and she liked working on Sudoku puzzles. She sewed many quilt tops for the Helena Loving Ties Quilting Group. She is survived by her children, Mary (Gary) Cook, Ruth, Joann (Russ) Talaski, Harbor Beach, David Emming, Harbor Beach, Dean (Carrie) Emming, Minden City, and Dale (Jenny) Emming, Harbor Beach. She is survived by her grandchildren, Jody Champagne, Traci (Derek) Snider, Garet (Amanda) Cook, Nicole Cook, Russell Talaski, Victoria (Kyle) Yackle, Haley Talaski, Brianna (Nolan Guza) Emming, Robert Emming and Faith Emming. She is also survived by her Great Grandchildren Pvt. Braedyn Cook-Champagne (US Marine), Avery and Kellyn Champagne, Lillyonna, Brooklyn and Dawsyn Snider, Chase, Easton, Tyler and Kaycie Cook, and Ethan and Allison Yackle. She is survived by her brothers, Bill (Audrey) Holdwick, Paul (Mary Ann) Holdwick, Ike (Dorothy) Holdwick, Dennis Holdwick, and Gene (Audrey) Holdwick and her sisters Linda Kirsch, Marge (Dave) Androl, Barb (Bob) Ingles, Trish (Carl) Roth. She is survived by her in-laws, Rosalee Holdwick, Theresa Holdwick, and Marie Holdwick, Leo (Donna) Emming, Leonard (Linda) Emming, Marv (Regina) Emming, Mary Lou (Damian) Walczak, Marileen (Gary) Geiger, Judy Emming, and Suzanne (Terry) Arn, Pat Emming, and Rose Ann Emming. Also many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Jerome and Stella Holdwick and her in-laws Bernard and Alma Emming. One grandchild, Trevor Emming. Brothers Richard, Harold, Edward and Brian Holdwick. Brother-in-laws, Ken Kirsch, Ray, Joseph and Melvin Emming, Robert Kreiner, Leo Holdwick and Lawrance Kranz, and sister-in-laws Mary Holdwick, Delores Kranz and Shirley Holdwick. Visitation will be Friday, November 26th from 9:00 am till 11:00 am at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Helena. Mass will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Helena Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held in the future. Memorials can be made to Harbor Beach Community Hospital Foundation or donors choice. Due to Covid-19 we encourage only family and close friends.
