Mrs Magdalena Engel
Harbor Beach Dec 8 - Mrs. Magdalena Agnes Engel, 52, wife of Theodore Engel, 
Harbor Beach grocer, died today in Mt Carmel Hospital, Detroit, after an illness 
of 2 months. She was born Jan 21, 1898 near Ruth, daughter of the late peter and 
Anna Eppenbrock. Mr & Mrs Engel have operated a grocery here 31 years. Mrs Engel 
is survived by her husband, 5 sons, Robert & Arthur, both of Wyandotte; James of 
Washington DC; Louis of Detroit and John of Harbor Beach; 3 daughters, Alice of 
Harbor Beach, Grace of Detroit, and Sister Theona, Newport MI; a sister, Mrs 
Lucy Barker, Trenton and 2 brothers, Rev John P Eppenbrock, Trenton and William 
Eppenbrock Harbor Beach. Remains are in the Burton E Ramsey funeral home.
