Genevieve Marie (Prill) Essenmacher 
July 10, 1929 - January 11, 2000
Genevieve Marie Essenmacher, 70, resident of Bad Axe in Colfax Township, died 
Tuesday morning, January 11, 2000, at her home following a long battle with 
cancer.  
She is survived by her husband, Marvin; four children, Duane Essenmacher and 
his wife, Marie, of Saginaw, Jerry Essenmacher of Portage, Renee Essenmacher of 
Grand Rapids, and Karen Snider and her husband, John, of Cedar Springs; four 
grandchildren, Heather Essenmacher, Elise Essenmacher, Spencer Snider and 
Addison Snider; two brothers, John Prill and his wife, Marilyn, of Bad Axe, and 
Albert Prill and his wife, Lorraine, of Shelby Township; and many nieces and 
nephews.  
Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14, 2000, at 
Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bad Axe, with Fr. Jack Leipert, pastor, 
officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Bad Axe.
