She was born March 21, 1926, in Saginaw, Michigan, daughter of the late Phillip and Viola (Noyes) Dixon. She married William Bolsby and he passed away. She then married Arnold Essenmacher on January 29, 1983 in Sandusky. He passed away August 23, 1996. Louise was a member of the Sandusky First United Methodist Church and a member of the Sandusky VFW Auxiliary # 2945. She was also a seamstress for many years. She is survived by five children; Sharon (Dennis) Minard, Rick (Robin) Bolsby, Stacy (Sherry) Essenmacher, all of Sandusky, Anthony (Bobbie) Essenmacher of Holt, Susan (Tom) Carney of Madison Heights, ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two sisters; Wanita Lane and Virginia Brackett, several nieces, nephews and several special friends. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren; Mary Elizabeth Essenmacher and Quin Thomas Carney. Funeral Services were held at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Colin Stover, Sandusky, Michigan. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery, Sandusky, Michigan. Memorials may be made to: Sandusky V.F.W. or to the Sandusky First United Methodist Church. Arrangements made by Hacker Funeral Parlors, Sandusky, Michigan.
