Born August 10, 1920 in Sand Beach township, Huron County, he was the son of Mrs. Mary Essenmacher, Harbor Beach, and the late William Essenmacher. He and Mary Messing were married October 18, 1941 at Ruth. He was a member of Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic church and of the Holy Name Society. Until he became ill, Mr. Essenmacher was employed at Evans Products Company at Gagetown. Surviving are his widow, three sons, David, James and Michael Essenmacher; all at home; five daughters, Miss Diane Essenmacher, Livonia, and Misses Mary Lou, Kathy, Sharon and Carol, all at home, his mother, two sisters, Mrs. Naomi Hurren, Harbor Beach, and Mrs. Cletus Schule, Detroit, and a brother, Raphael Essenmacher, Harbor Beach. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Lake Huron Church bv Rev. Cornelius McEachin. Burial will be in Rock Falls Cemetery. The remains are in the Burton E. Ramsey Funeral Home where the Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m., Sunday by Father McEachin.
