Sarah (Booms) Essenmacher  
August 26, 1902  - May 20, 1982
Sarah Essenmacher, 79, of 2680 E. Sanilac, died Thursday, May 20, 1982, in 
Deckervjlle Community Hospital,  She was born August 26, 1902, in Harbor Beach, 
and lived in the Carsonville and Sandusky area since 1949.   She married Cyril 
Essenmacher May 6, 1925, in Helena.  He died April 10, 1977. Mrs. Essenmacher is 
survived by five sons, Alvin, Carsonville, Arnold and Dennis, both of Sandusky, 
Ronald, Tampa, Florida, and Michael, Walled Lake, Michigan; nine daughters, 
Eileen Wessel and Louella Thompson, both of Port Huron, Doris Ganhs, Goodells, 
Regina Watchowski, Warren, Connie Kaiser, New Baltimore, Lillian Rader, 
Lexington, Vivian Ennett, London, Ontario, Colette Lohr, Arizona, and Linda 
Adams, Inglewood, Colorado; five sisters, Mrs. Cecila Gerbrach, Ruth, Mrs. Mary 
Kramer and Mrs. Helen Schultz, both of Harbor Beach, Mrs. Florence Ramisch, 
Palms, and Frances Booms, Elkton; two brothers, Clarence, Florida, and Allen, 
Harbor Beach; 47 grandchildren; and 10 greatgrandchildren. 

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 
Sandusky.  Father Marian Kryszak, pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in St. 
Anthony's Cemetery, Helena.  Visiting begins at 7 p.m. today in the Mavis 
Funeral Home, Sandusky.  A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday.  Published 
Times Herald (Port Huron, Michigan) Thursday May 20, 1982.
