Floyd Anthony Essenmacher
March 7, 1937 - March 19, 1988
Floyd A. Essenmacher, 51, Bloomfield Township, died Saturday, March 19, 
1988, at Harbor Beach Community Hospital after a long illness.  He was born 
March 7, 1937 in Bloomfield Township, son of George Essenmacher and the late 
Clara (Oswald) Essenmacher.  He married Patricia Ulfig October 5. 1957 in 
St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Rapson.  Mr. Essenmacher was a parishioner of 
St. Joseph's Catholic Church, a charter member of Rapson Sportsmen's Club, a 
former 4-H club leader and a member of Farm Bureau.  He farmed for many 
years in Bloomfield Township and was a former Little League baseball coach. 

Surviving are his wife, Patricia, Harbor Beach; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph 
(Susan) Osantoski, and Mrs. Edward (Debbie Ann) Osantoski. both of Port 
Austin;  two sons, Mark Essenmacher and Anthony Essenmacher, both at home; 
his father, George, Harbor Beach; three grandchildren; four brothers. Melvin 
Essenmacher, Florida, Albert Essenmacher, Livonia, Jerome Essenmacher, 
Carsonville, and Richard Essenmacher, Centerline; and two sisters, Mrs. 
Genevieve Wruble, Gaylord, and Mrs. Joyce Geiger, Bad Axe. 

Services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.  The Rev. 
John Cotter, pastor, officiated.  Burial was in the church cemetery.  A 
parish rosary was at 8 p.m. Monday at Ramsey Funeral Home, Harbor Beach.  
Memorials may be made to the Harbor Beach Community Hospital of Eastern 
Huron Ambulance Service.  Published Minden City Herald Thursday March 24,
